Mobile Monday is an international community of mobile visionaries, developers, professionals and users. We aim to promote co-operation and partnership through physical and virtual meetings where ideas and good practice can be shared and where knowledge and trends can be discussed.

It all started in Finland in 2000, and the Mobile Monday network is now on every continent. All the world’s major cities have either already joined or are in the process of joining the community. Mobile Monday has been active in France since 2004. The Paris group has already held scores of events and has over 250 participants, which makes it one of the world’s most popular Mobile Mondays.
Mobile Monday Méditérranée is the second French incarnation of this global network. It was formed in 2007 by Paca Mobile Center and aims to bring together the mobile technologies community across the South-East of France, with a focus on Marseille (the heart of Mobile Valley) but also on Nice, Lyon and Montpellier.
Mobile Monday Méditerranée aims to promote key players in mobile technologies in the region and encourage exchange between companies, research centres and partners who are working in this industry. Mobile Monday Méditerranée is the biggest mobile technologies forum in the South of France and runs 4 or 5 events every year with between 80 and 100 participants.
